We are currently seeking an excellent Mechanic to service, maintain and repair trucks in the workshop to a high standard compliant with manufacturers standards while operating in a safe and enjoyable environment to ensure efficient repairs fixed right the first time.

Our client is the largest company in its own industry in WA. We are looking for people who have experience in performing scheduled maintenance services, detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts, dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanism and other components, testing and adjusting mechanical parts, plant fitter, repairing and replacing worn or defective parts.
Current Australian Certified Trade Certificate in Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Sufficient training and experience to be able to work with minimal supervision
Mature and professional outlook
Attention to detail
Physically fit (medically assessed)
Current and valid HR license
Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Certificate
Experience working with the Mack, UD and/or Volvo HD products
Written communication skills

To be considered for this rare opportunity you will need to demonstrate sufficient training and extensive experience as a Mechanic, including the following:
· Relevant Trade Certificate (essential)
· Strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace
· Positive and proactive approach to your work
· The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
· Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously with high attention to detail
· Experience on Mack, Kenworth and/or MAN Product (highly desirable).
