Job Description
Are you an experienced truck driver with a passion for agriculture? We are looking for a skilled MC Truck Driver to join our team in Parilla, SA. This permanent role involves operating various trucks and trailers to ensure the efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of produce. What You’ll Do:
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating trucks and trailers to position vehicles for loading and unloading
- Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
- Connecting and disconnecting trailers from B-Double and Road Train combinations
- Verifying paperwork and ensuring produce bins and crates are labeled correctly
- Conducting safety checks and inspections on vehicles to ensure they meet national standards
- Ensuring goods are securely stowed and transported with minimal damage
- Operating forklifts to transport produce bins and crates
- Completing regular quality checks and performing basic maintenance on vehicles
- Handling high-pressure water cannon systems to unload produce at the wash line
Benefits:
This position offers:
- A competitive hourly rate of $35.37
- Approximately 60 hours of work per week

Your Skills & Experience:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- A valid MC driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant truck driving experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose vehicle faults
- Experience reversing into narrow loading areas
- A strong work ethic with a willingness to participate in a broad range of duties
