What You’ll Do:

This role is critical to the success of our operations, offering you invaluable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a forklift to assist with various tasks
  • Collecting and verifying documentation, including bags, markings, and required labeling
  • Ensuring food safety standards are met in all production activities
  • Cleaning production and packing areas before, during, and after packing
  • Setting up cleaners and operating plant as required
  • Drawing samples and testing grain to ensure it meets suitable standards
  • Assisting with bulk packing and working on the bagging line
  • Operating bag loaders and sewing machines as needed
  • Completing pre-start and DAFF checklists
  • Documenting all grain movements and submitting them to the stock controller
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately
  • Unloading trucks as required
  • Handling additional tasks on-site as needed

Your Skills & Experience:

We’re searching for individuals who not only hold the qualifications but also have hands-on experience in grain handling and forklift operation. To excel in this role, bring the following:

  • A valid forklift license
  • No history of asthma (due to the nature of the work environment)
  • Previous experience in grain handling
  • Physical fitness and health to handle the demands of the role
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
