Join Our Team at AAT Kings: Customer Service and Sales Agent

The Role

As a Contact Centre Sales Agent with AAT Kings, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to maximize direct guest and trade partner sales across our diverse range of offerings, including Guided Holidays, Short Breaks & Day Tours, and Inspiring Journeys. This exciting opportunity offers permanent, full-time employment with flexible shifts available from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. You’ll work from our vibrant Alexandria office three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests and trade agents across various communication channels.
  • Handle inquiries with finesse, seizing every sales opportunity to achieve growth targets.
  • Seamlessly process travel bookings and convert leads into bookings through multiple channels.
  • Upsell additional AAT Kings experiences to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Cultivate expertise in our product offerings to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Ensure guests receive comprehensive service, including assistance with flights, rail, insurance, and more.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Utilize CRM and GDS systems proficiently to manage leads and track sales effectively.
  • Demonstrate our brand values in every interaction, fostering trust and loyalty with guests.

About You

  • Bring 2 years of experience in Retail Travel, Airline, or similar reservations sales roles.
  • Possess Contact Centre experience, preferably in inbound or outbound telesales.
  • Have a track record of meeting or surpassing KPIs and sales targets.
  • Display strong familiarity with the travel industry, especially Australian and NZ destinations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in sales CRM programs like Salesforce.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and dedication to guest satisfaction.
