We are offering a unique opportunity for a couple to join Summerstar Tourist Parks as Relief Management Staff at the Management Level. This is a full-time, hands-on role, covering holidays, vacancies, and other requirements across our 14 Caravan and Tourist Parks: 13 in Western Australia and 1 in Ceduna, South Australia. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential to meet the needs of our parks and guests.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Your own caravan
- At least two years of experience in the tourist park industry
The successful couple will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of each park as required, bringing a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork, and a can-do attitude.

About the Roles
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on Management Couple who are flexible, positive, and guest-focused. In this role, one person will focus on office and administrative tasks while the other handles grounds and maintenance.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Park Operations: Managing day-to-day park activities, including out-of-hours responsibilities.
- Groundskeeping: Lawn mowing, garden and pool maintenance, room preparation, painting, and bin management.
- Reception and Guest Services: Handling guest inquiries, check-ins/outs, reservations, and ensuring a warm welcome.
- Financial Management: Reporting, budgeting, and managing end-of-month tasks.
- Training: Supporting and training new managers or staff as needed.
- Occasional Cleaning and Laundry: Providing hands-on support where required.
- Seasonal Activities: Organizing guest activities such as BBQs and kids’ events.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Competency in handyman tasks and office systems.
- Physically fit and eager to learn.
- Experience leading teams and managing operations.
- Familiarity with RMS (or similar reservation systems).
- A sound understanding of business fundamentals.
- Previous experience in tourist park management (preferred).
Successful applicants must be flexible to travel between parks to cover holiday leave, emergency leave, and longer-term appointments.
What We Offer
- Full-time salary: c.$72,000+ per annum per person, plus superannuation.
- Vehicle allowance: $4,500 per annum per person ($9,000 per couple).
- Reimbursements: Fuel costs for travel between parks and paid travel time.
- Powered site for your caravan included at each location.
- January 2025 start, with two days of paid corporate training and induction in Perth.
