This freshly renovated 23 room motel is reopening in August 2024 and is looking for an experienced management couple to commence in July 2024 (start date flexible) for an initial 3+ month period. Your initial responsibilities will be with setting up the motel operations systems and preparing for the grand opening in August. Once the Motel has opened, you will be responsible for the daily motel operations including all the standard reception duties – including (but not limited to) guest management, inventory management, monthly reporting to the owners, overseeing housekeeping & all other staff, etc. All linen will be outsourced. Housekeeping team will be in place. Repair and maintenance experience is not essential but highly regarded. Managers to oversee all garden & property maintenance. No pool. No breakfast or dinners. Sorry no pets. Guestpoint FOSAccommodation included. $300 per day. Successful applicants will have prior motel & hotel experience and have a current First Aid certificate. Accounting experience, particularly exposure to Xero, is highly regarded but not essential. There is also the possibility of this position becoming permanent for the right couple.
