We are looking for an energetic couple with their own caravan to assist us in the day to day activities in our caravan park. A powered site is provided. Ideally would like you to be available to work from m July through to mid-October. The park has 19 rooms and cabins, two amenities blocks, camp kitchen and 29 powered sites.
Duties include cleaning cabins, rooms and amenities. Mowing and maintaining the grounds. Assisting with guests in the office, retail sales, reception, parking etc. Must be fit and able to work independently, use initiative and have great customer service. The positions are casual with hours varying depending on guest numbers. Hours may range from 25 to 40 hours per week with weekend penalties and occasional overtime. Previous experience is desired but not essential.
Burketown is in the Gulf of Carpentaria and is located approximately 6 hours by road from Mount Isa. The area is well known for its exceptional barramundi fishing, giant mud crabs and abundant wildlife. There is a health clinic, post office/general store, service station, hotel and cafe. Population is about 180.
