Housekeepers

With the busy season approaching, we are looking for several housekeepers for the Tom Price Tourist Park.

These roles are Casual and paid at the following Rates

Monday – Friday (incl. casual loading): $34.79/hour

Saturdays: $41.75/hour

Sundays: $48.70/hour

Public Holidays: $69.58/hour

Hours per Week

20 plus hours per week, ramping up to 38 hours within the next 6 weeks. The Busy Season is from May to September, although ongoing year-round work may be available, please ask if interested.

If required, workers’ accommodation (nominal fee of $25 per week) or a powered site is available (no charge or discounted, depending on the number staying and the number working for us).

Responsibilities – Housekeeper

·        Stripping linen & preparing Cabins and for Guests

·        Clean and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)

·        Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

·        Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects

·        Notify management of any need for repairs

·        Stock and maintain supply rooms

·        Laundry duties (washing, drying, folding Bed Linen and Bathroom Towels etc.)

Requirements

It is required that you have the following experience, or the capacity to learn or be shown:

·        Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner

·        Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

·        Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

·        Integrity

The goal is to keep our facilities in a clean and suitable condition for our Guests.
