We are looking for a mature couple or single person to be campsite assistants. You need to have your own caravan/campervan/trailer that is self-contained.
We provide a fabulous location in the Heart of the National Park & will supply, free site, drinking water, dump point & Gas BBQ use.
It is for those who wish to see and explore the southwest region from a central location, whilst volunteering some time in exchange for free site accommodation.
We are happy for campsite assistants to commit to a minimum of two weeks so this can be part of your trip experiencing the south west of W.A. or longer if it is working for all involved.
The campground is very simple, has only 54 bays in a natural bush setting. Facilities we provide are a dump point, rubbish bins and long drop toilets, Gas BBQs & kitchen areas.
Requirements of a camp assistant
This takes one person six to seven hours per week.
There may also be an opportunity for some paid work at the Kiosk/Café.
As well as a great base for exploring the wider region, the park offers, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, bush walking. MBT trails & wildflowers in season.
You can find out more about our campground on Wiki camps (Potters Gorge) and at our website kioskatthedam.com.au
This is not suitable backpackers wanting to gain work days for visas. It is also not suitable for those who are not comfortable with cleaning long drop toilets & BBQs. You just need to be cheerful, moderately fit with an eye for detail.
There is no onsite Power available, however generators are OK within set hours.
Sorry no pets, as we are in a National Park.
Please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Wishing you happy & safe travels.
