Safety Warning on Butane Cookers

06-Mar-2015

The NSW Department of Fair Trading issued a safety warning about the use of butane cookers and as a result, a number of the small cookers have been withdrawn from sale.

NSW Fair Trading and other State gas regulators, have found a fault with the cookers’ shut-off valves, posing a risk that the devices may overheat and could explode.

Full details, including the list of the models of cookers that have been suspended from sale can be found at the Department of Fair Trading’s website, by clicking here
